The overall cancer tissue staining statistics shows the fraction of patient samples with strong, moderate, weak or no staining (as described by the color-coding scale in the box to the right), using all the available antibodies to the protein targets encoded by this gene. For each cancer, the staining for each available antibody is reported as the fraction of samples with strong, moderate, weak or no staining (as described by the color-coding scale in the box to the right). The lenght of the bar represents the number of patient samples analysed (max=12 patients). By clicking on a cancer tissue, the detailed staining data for that cancer is available, including annotated images.
At the bottom of this page, a summary for the cancer staining for each antibody is given, together with the immunohistochemistry validation score for that antibody.
Testicular cancers exhibited moderate to strong cytoplasmic immunoreactivity. Many cases of prostate, thyroid and hepatocellular carcinomas as well as a few cases of malignant gliomas and melanomas showed moderate staining. The remaining tumors were in general negative.
Most malignant cells were weakly stained or negative. Malignant melanomas, malignant gliomas, testicular, hepatocellular, prostate and thyroid cancers displayed moderate to strong cytoplasmic immunoreactivity.
Testicular cancers displayed several cases with strong cytoplasmic positivity. Malignant glioma, prostate and liver cancers showed moderate staining.
