Immunohistochemical staining of human duodenum shows distinct cytoplasmic positivity in glandular cells.
 
Immunohistochemical staining of human thyroid gland shows strong cytoplasmic positivity with a granular pattern in glandular cells.
 
Immunohistochemical staining of human oral mucosa shows strong cytoplasmic and nuclear positivity in squamous epithelial cells.
 

Summary

Normal tissues generally showed moderate cytoplasmic immunoreactivity. Subsets of cells in the CNS showed nuclear positivity. Lymphoid tissues were often weakly positive.   Most normal tissues showed moderate granular cytoplasmic and occasional nuclear positivity. The intestine, bronchus, pancreatic islets, prostate, bone marrow and thyroid gland cells exhibited strong immunoreactivity. Glial cells in CNS, heart and skeletal muscles were generally negative.   Most of the normal tissues displayed moderate cytoplasmic positivity. Additional nuclear staining was observed in squamous epithelia, gastrointestinal tract and urothelium. Alveolar cells, salivary gland, liver and breast glands were negative.
