Summary

Strong nuclear staining in squamous cell carcinomas, while lymphomas, melanomas, testis- and prostate cancers displayed mostly negative or weakly stained cases. The quantity of positive cells was rarely more than 50% and sometimes the staining pattern varied considerable from case to case. Hepatocellular carcinomas were generally negative in contrast to most cholangio carcinomas where positivity was registered.Strong nuclear staining in most cervical, urothelial, stomach, pancreatic and skin cancers. Negative or weak staining in prostate, lung, skin and testis cancers. Malignant carcinoids, gliomas and lymphomas were also mainly negative.
