The tissues and cell types can be ordered by organ, cell type or alphabetically. If ordered by organ, the tissues are presented in groups according to functional features. If ordered by cell type, the cells are presented in groups related to origin.
This score describes the level of antibody staining observed in the annotated cell types as not detected (n), low (l), medium (m) or high (h). This score describes a knowledge-based best estimate of the protein expression in the annotated cell types as not detected (n), low (l), medium (m) or high (h). It is a result of stringent evaluation of immunohistochemical staining pattern, RNA data from internal and external sources and available protein/gene characterization data. Normal tissues in general exhibited weakly stained nuclei or were negative. Distinct membranous and cytoplasmic staining was observed in gastrointestinal glands while several other cell types, e.g. neurons, gall bladder and adrenal gland cells, displayed nuclear staining.
Most of the normal tissues were negative. Strong cytoplasmic and membranous staining was seen in glandular cells of intestinal tract. Ovarian follicle cells showed moderate staining.
Strong cytoplasmic and membranous positivity was seen in intestinal tract. Normal tissues were otherwise in general negative.
Strong membranous staining combined with cytoplasmic positivity was observed in intestinal cells and subsets of gastric cells while subsets of cells in seminiferus ducts displayed moderate cytoplasmic staining. Remaining normal tissues were generally negative.
