The overall cancer tissue staining statistics shows the fraction of patient samples with strong, moderate, weak or no staining (as described by the color-coding scale in the box to the right), using all the available antibodies to the protein targets encoded by this gene. For each cancer, the staining for each available antibody is reported as the fraction of samples with strong, moderate, weak or no staining (as described by the color-coding scale in the box to the right). The lenght of the bar represents the number of patient samples analysed (max=12 patients). By clicking on a cancer tissue, the detailed staining data for that cancer is available, including annotated images.
At the bottom of this page, a summary for the cancer staining for each antibody is given, together with the immunohistochemistry validation score for that antibody.
Most malignant cells showed a similar staining pattern as their normal counterparts, often strong cytoplasmic positivity. Lymphomas were mainly negative.
Most malignant tissues showed similar staining as their normal counterparts. Occasional cases of breast and testicular cancer showed strong staining. Most cases of malignant melanoma, lymphoma and lung cancer were weakly stained or negative.
Most malignant cells displayed moderate nuclear and/or cytoplasmic positivity. Several hepatocellular carcinomas, renal cell carcinomas, lung, pancreatic and breast cancers exhibited strong immunoreactivity. Malignant lymphomas were in general negative.
