Summary

Thyroid cancers displayed moderate to strong cytoplasmic staining. Hepatocellular carcinomas and several ovarian and urothelial cancers showed moderate cytoplasmic staining. Most of the remaining malignancies were weakly stained or negative.A majority of malignant cells displayed moderate to strong cytoplasmic positivity. Several cases of malignant melanomas, testicular, skin and cervical cancers were weakly stained or negative.

Validation

Supportive: Two (or more) antibodies yielding partly similar staining patterns which are consistent with gene/protein characterization data
