Immunohistochemical staining of human lymph node shows distinct cytoplasmic and nuclear positivity in cells outside the reaction centra.

Immunohistochemical staining of human lymph node shows strong cytoplasmic and nuclear positivity in lymphoid cells outside reaction centra.

Immunohistochemical staining of human lymph node shows strong positivity in subsets of cells outside the germinal center.

Summary

Alveolar macrophages and a subset of cells in lymphoid tissues exhibited strong cytoplasmic and nuclear staining. Weak to moderate cytoplasmic staining was observed in gastric glands, gall bladder, exocrine pancreas and testis while most other normal tissues were negative.   A small subset of lymphoid cells in lymph node, tonsil spleen and gastrointestinal tract showed strong cytoplasmic staining. distinct staining was also seen in skeletal muscle. Other tissues and cells were negative.   Weak to moderate cytoplasmic positivity was observed in most normal tissues. Subsets of lymphoid cells, hepatocytes and gall bladder were strongly stained. Glial cells and lymphoid reaction center cells were basically negative.
