Immunohistochemical staining of human nasopharynx shows nuclear positivity in respiratory epithelial cells.

Immunohistochemical staining of human oral mucosa shows strong nuclear positivity in squamous epithelial cells.

Immunohistochemical staining of human nasopharynx shows strong nuclear and cytoplasmic positivity in respiratory epithelial cells.

Summary

Most normal tissues displayed moderate nuclear positivity. Airways epithelium, glial cells, trophoblastic cells, cervix and thyroid gland showed strong positivity. Reaction center cells of lymphoid tissues were weakly stained or negative.   Normal tissues displayed weak to moderate cytoplasmic and/or nuclear positivity. Glandular cells of cervix and squamous epithelia were strongly stained. Bile ducts and exocrine pancreas were negative.   Normal tissues showed moderate to strong nuclear and cytoplasmic staining.
