Summary

Most malignant cells showed moderate to strong cytoplasmic staining. A majority of gastric and renal cancers as well as several liver and pancreatic cancers were weakly stained.Hepatocellular carcinomas and renal cancers showed strong cytoplasmic immunoreactivity. Malignant lymphomas, colo-rectal, lung, stomach, ovarian and breast cancers were negative. Most other cancers displayed weak to moderate cytoplasmic positivity. Endothelial cells and inflammatory cells in stroma showed distinct staining.

Validation

Two (or more) antibodies yielding partly similar staining patterns which are partly consistent with gene/protein characterization data or consistent with limited gene/protein characterization data
