Summary

Strong cytoplasmic staining was observed in a few cases of squamous cell carcinomas, malignant gliomas and melanomas. Cases of urothelial cancers showed distinct membranous positivity. Malignant cells in general were negative.Several malignancies including liver, lung and female genital cancer showed distinct staining in fractions of cases. Malignant cells in general were negative.A majority of the malignant tissues exhibited moderate cytoplasmic positivity. Several cases of prostate cancers displayed strong positivity. Malignant gliomas, lymphomas and most of the skin and testicular cancers were negative.

Validation

Two (or more) antibodies yielding partly similar staining patterns which are partly consistent with gene/protein characterization data or consistent with limited gene/protein characterization data
