Immunohistochemical staining of human fallopian tube shows cytoplasmic positivity in glandular cells.

Immunohistochemical staining of human rectum shows strong cytoplasmic positivity in glandular cells.

Summary

A majority of normal tissues showed weak to moderate cytoplasmic positivity. The liver, lung, most squamous epithelium, glial cells and myocytes were generally negative.   Normal cells displayed moderate to strong cytoplasmic positivity. Additional membranous staining was observed in fallopian tube, respiratory epithelia, gall bladder, prostate, salivary gland and endometrial glands. Hematopoietic cells, adrenal gland, smooth muscle cells and respiratory epithelia showed additional nuclear staining.

Validation

Two (or more) antibodies yielding partly similar staining patterns which are partly consistent with gene/protein characterization data or consistent with limited gene/protein characterization data
