It is a result of stringent evaluation of immunohistochemical staining pattern, RNA data from internal and external sources and available protein/gene characterization data. Most of the normal tissues displayed weak to moderate cytoplasmic positivity. Strong staining was observed in exocrine pancreas, placenta, Purkinje cells and a subset of lymphoid cells outside reaction centra.
Most normal cells showed weak to moderate cytoplasmic staining combined with membranous positivity in a few cases. Strong immunoreactivity was observed in a subset of lymphoid cells while the liver were negative.
Normal tissues displayed weak to moderate cytoplasmic positivity. Myocytes and Purkinje cells displayed strong cytoplasmic staining. Lymphoid tissue, islets of Langerhans, pneumocytes, trophoblastic cells and prostate were negative.
Most normal tissues showed weak to moderate nuclear positivity. Decidual cells, subsets of alveolar cells, gall bladder, large intestine and upper glandular cells of stomach showed strong nuclear immunoreactivity. The liver, cells of CNS, myocytes and most lymphoid cells were negative. Malignant cells were generally negative or weakly stained.
