Module 11: Validation and extended profiling
Principal Investigator (PI): Dr Caroline Kampf

Personnel: Christine Johansson (technican), Cecilia Lindskog (PhD student) and Jerker Linné (technican).
Consultant pathologists: Dr. Johan Lindholm.

Responsibility: (i) organization and administration of curation. (ii) final approval of antibodies. (iii) extended profiling for selected antibodies.

Description: Annotated antibodies from the annotation module in Mumbai, India, are curated and quality assured at the Uppsala site. The curation also aims to identify and select antibodies of special interest for extended studies.

A subset of antibodies show protein expression patterns of interest for extended studies to identify biomarkers of potential clinical relevance. Special TMA:s containing large cohorts of defined cancers, with associated clinical data, are produced and used for screening antibodies of potential clinical relevance.
