Hepatocytes and subtypes of endocrine cells, e.g. the parathyroid displayed strong immunoreactivity. Moderate positivity was observed in a number of glandular cells while remaining cell types mainly showed weak staining or was negative. Further showed the kidney differences between proximal and distal tubules and the salivary gland were stronger stained in ductal cells compared to glandular.
Staining patterns in the malignant tissues often followed that of the corresponding normal tissue with the exception for the gliomas which were distinctly stronger stained compared to the normal glial cells.
