The protein was found in some normal lymphocytes as a nuclear and cytoplasmic staining of moderate intensity. The intensity of staining was higher in those lymphocytes that infiltrated tumor tissues in comparison to those in lymphatic tissues. All other cell types, benign and malignant, were unstained.
