Most glandular cells showed cytoplasmic and nuclear staining. Testicular leydig cells displayed distinct cytoplasmic and nuclear staining while astrocytes in CNS showed moderate to strong cytoplasmic immunoreactivity. Distinct nuclear positivity was observed in skeletal and heart muscle. Lymphatic cells were negative. Cases of malignant gliomas, liver, gastric and colorectal cancers showed moderate cytoplasmic and nuclear positivity. Most of the remaining tumors were negative.
Annotation summary: Staining of cytoplasm and nuclei but not nucleoli in all three cell lines, with additional staining of vesicles in U-251MG and A-431.
Validation: Subcellular localization supported by literature.
