Most glandular epithelia showed cytoplasmic positivity. Squamous epithelium less positive. Urothelial cells positive in both nucleus and cytoplasm.
Most adenocarcinomas showed a slight cytoplasmic staining, in tumour cells as well as in surrounding stroma. In breast cancer a nuclear staining was also seen, sometimes also a cytoplasmic membrane staining.
Ovarian carcinomas sometimes showed nuclear staining. Otherwise genital tract carcinomas were weakly positive or negative.
Varying positivity in other carcinoma types.
Gliomas and lymphomas generally negative.
