Normal tissues were generally negative. Strong cytoplasmic staining was observed in brush border of duodenum and in bronchial surface epithelial cells. Other surface epithelia mostly showed moderate cytoplasmic immunoreactivity in a sub-population of cells.
Among malignant tissues, most cases were negative. Weak to moderate cytoplasmic positivity was observed in some adenocarcinomas.
