ABCE1<\/h3>

AATP binding cassette subfamily E member 1 (ABCE1) belongs to the large family of ATP-binding cassette (ABC) proteins. ABCE1 is involved in the ATP-dependent recycling of ribosomal subunits from terminated or stalled transcription complexes. ABCE1 also binds to and regulates the activity of RNase L, an endonuclease that mediates protection against viral infections by cleaving exogenous single-stranded RNA.<\/p>
