Most squamous epithelia, hepatocytes, thyroid gland, megakaryocytes, urinary bladder, cells in seminiferous ducts, most female genitalia and neuronal cells in CNS showed moderate to strong cytoplasmic positivity. Strong membrane immunoreactivity was displayed in heart muscle. Lymphoid cells in lymphatic tissues, smooth and skeletal muscle were mainly weakly stained or negative.
Trophoblastic cells of placenta showed strong cytoplasmic positivity. moderate cytoplasmic staining was observed in urothelium and heart muscle. Other normal tissues were weakly stained or negative.
Distinct positivity was observed in basal membranes. Strong cytoplasmic staining with a granular pattern was displayed in placenta, renal tubules and glandular cells of the gastrointestinal tract. Heart muscle showed distinct membranous positivity. Remaining normal tissues were in general negative.
