Summary

Most of the malignant tissues displayed weak to moderate cytoplasmic positivity. Malignant carcinoids showed strong cytoplasmic immunoreactivity. Cervical, endometrial, thyroid, renal and urothelial cancers were generally negative. Most malignant cells displayed moderate cytoplasmic positivity. Strong staining was observed in several cases of malignant melanomas and a few cases of malignant gliomas, ovarian and endometrial cancers. Malignant lymphomas, lung, skin and renal cancers were in general weakly stained.

Validation

Uncertain: Two (or more) antibodies yielding dissimilar or partly similar staining patterns and there is no available gene/protein characterization data or only limited gene/protein characterization data
