Summary

Malignant tissues displayed granular cytoplasmic staining in most cases. Intensity was varying between weak and strong. Several cases of prostate cancers showed strong immunoreactivity. Squamous cell carcinomas of the skin were generally weaker stained than basal cell carcinomas.Moderate to strong cytoplasmic staining was seen in most malignant tissues. Staining pattern was granular and strongest staining was seen in colorectal carcinomas and in malignant melanomas. Malignant lymphomas, renal and testicular cancers were weakest stained.

Validation

Two (or more) antibodies yielding similar staining patterns which are partly consistent with gene/protein characterization data or consistent with limited gene/protein characterization data
