The tissues and cell types can be ordered by organ, cell type or alphabetically. If ordered by organ, the tissues are presented in groups according to functional features. If ordered by cell type, the cells are presented in groups related to origin.
This score describes the level of antibody staining observed in the annotated cell types as not detected (n), low (l), medium (m) or high (h). This score describes a knowledge-based best estimate of the protein expression in the annotated cell types as not detected (n), low (l), medium (m) or high (h). It is a result of stringent evaluation of immunohistochemical staining pattern, RNA data from internal and external sources and available protein/gene characterization data. Renal glomeruli, decidual cells, extracellular matrix, mesenchymal cells, adipocytes, ovarian and endometrial stroma were moderately stained. Remaining normal tissues were negative.
Most normal tissues displayed weak to moderate cytoplasmic and nuclear positivity. Additional membranous positivity was seen in Leydig cells, squamous epithelium and urothelial cells. Decidual cells, renal tubules and respiratory epithelium in nasopharynx showed strong positivity. Liver, pancreas, thyroid and cells in CNS were weakly stained or negative.
Most of the normal tissues were negative. Staining was mainly observed in fibroblasts and extracellular material, e.g. collagen.
Strong cytoplasmic positivity was observed decidual cells, endometrial and ovarian stromal cells. Glandular cells of breast, epidermal cells, smooth muscle cells and lung were moderately stained. Connective tissue displayed distinctly staining. Remaining normal tissues were mostly negative.
