Summary

Most cancer tissues showed weak cytoplasmic or nuclear positivity or were negative. Most cancer tissues showed weak cytoplasmic positivity or were negative.A majority of carcinoids and several colorectal, ovarian, cervical, lung, pancreatic and liver cancers showed moderate cytoplasmic staining. Most of the remaining cancer tissues were weakly stained or negative.A single case of carcinoid showed strong cytoplasmic staining. Subsets of cells in a few cases of colorectal, ovarian, endometrial, testicular and liver cancers revealed weak to moderate cytoplasmic and/or nuclear immunoreactivity. Other cancer tissues were negative.

Validation

Supportive: Two (or more) antibodies yielding partly similar staining patterns which are consistent with gene/protein characterization data
