This score describes the level of antibody staining observed in the annotated cell types as not detected (n), low (l), medium (m) or high (h). It is a result of stringent evaluation of immunohistochemical staining pattern, RNA data from internal and external sources and available protein/gene characterization data. Most normal cells displayed moderate to strong cytoplasmic positivity. Additional nuclear staining was observed in neuronal cells.
Most normal tissues showed moderate to strong cytoplasmic positivity. Cells in CNS, lymphoid tissues and bile ducts were weakly stained or negative. Cilia in fallopian tube showed distinct positivity.
Gastrointestinal tract, urothelium, endothelial cells in cerebral cortex, subset of lymphoid cells, trophoblasts and endometrial glands showed moderate cytoplasmic and/or nuclear positivity. Remaining normal tissues were in general weakly stained or negative.
Normal tissues showed weak to moderate cytoplasmic positivity. Nuclear or nucleolar staining were observed in a few cases. Respiratory epithelium of nasopharynx showed strong cytoplasmic and membranous positivity. Leydig cells and the adrenal showed strong granular cytoplasmic staining. Glial cells showed strong nuclear immunoreactivity. The liver, parathyroid, islet of Langerhans, Purkinje cells and germinal center cells were negative.
Glandular tissues and respiratory, transitional and squamous epithelia showed moderate cytoplasmic positivity. Remaining normal tissues were weakly stained or negative.
