PROTEIN SUMMARY SECTION OVERVIEW RNA DATA ANTIBODY DATA
RNA SUMMARY - Normalized
Tissue consensus dataseti

The consensus dataset consists of normalized expression (nTPM) levels for 55 tissue types, created by combining the HPA and GTEx transcriptomics datasets using the internal normalization pipeline. Color-coding is based on tissue groups, each consisting of tissues with functional features in common. To access sample data, click on tissue name or bar.

Read more about how the datasets were combined into consensus normalized expression levels in <a href="/about/assays+annotation#normalization_rna"_blank">Assays & Annotation.

Single cell typei

A summary of normalized single cell RNA (nTPM) from all single cell types. Color-coding is based on cell type groups, each consisting of cell types with functional features in common.

Brain regional consensus dataseti

Consensus normalized expression (nTPM) levels were created for the 13 brain regions based on the HPA brain transcriptomics dataset. Color-coding is based on the brain region, in several cases consisting of the highest expression among the subregions included. To access sample data, click on region name or bar.

Read more about normalization of transcriptomics data in<a href="/about/assays+annotation#normalization_rna"_blank">Assays & Annotation.

HPA immune cell dataseti

The resulting transcript expression values calculated as nTPM, resulting from the internal normalization pipeline for 18 immune cell types and total peripheral blood mononuclear cells (PBMC).

HPA cell linesi

The cell lines in the Human Protein Atlas have been analyzed by RNA-seq to estimate the transcript abundance of each protein-coding gene. The RNA-seq data was then used to classify all genes according to their cell line-specific expression into one of six different categories, defined based on the total set of all nTPM values in all analyzed cell lines.

RNA SAMPLE SUMMARYi

The RNA summary section shows normal distribution of individual samples across the datasets of multiple RNA-seq analyses visualized with box plots shown as median and 25th and 75th percentiles. Points are displayed as outliers if they are above or below 1.5 times the interquartile range.

Hold mouse pointer over tissue/cell type/cell line to see sample numbers. Click on the cancer type to see cancer type sample information.
