Summary

Moderate to strong cytoplasmic and membranous immunoreactivity was observed in some testicular cancers, malignant lymphomas, cervical cancers and colorectal cancers. Remaining tumors were in general negative. Tumor stroma and muscular tissue was distinctly stained. The staining intensity was correlated to tumor cell differentiation. Where differentiation was lost, the staining intensity increased. In brain tumors low grade astrocytomas were almost unstained, whereas highly malignant glioblastomas were strongly stained. Most malignancies showed moderate to strong cytoplasmic positivity. Prostate, colorectal, gastric ad liver cancers were mainly negative. Tumor stroma were positive.
